This course is designed for brand new shooters or for those with minimal experience. It covers situational awareness and how to keep from becoming a victim by simple precautionary measures, firearms safety, loading and unloading the pistol, drawing from the holster, manipulation, marksmanship, shooting on steel and to distance and a final shoot off.
Handguns are available for rent on a first come first served basis. Holsters and ear protection are provided. Ammunition must be purchased separately
NO prerequisites or experience required.
Equipment needed:
- Semi Automatic Handgun at least 9 mm*
- Two magazines*
- Sturdy nylon or leather belt that fits through your pants belt loop
- Eye protection or sunglasses
- Ear protection*
- 150 rounds of factory ammunition
*Gun rentals (and all associated equipment) are available for rent at a daily rate of $25 for handguns and $40 for shotguns, carbine rifles and sniper rifles. All of our rental guns are of the highest quality and in excellent condition. Therefore, when renting our equipment, ammunition MUST be purchased from us at competitive prices.
