Tactical Shotgun I

Shotgun I is a basic class designed for new shotgun shooters and also for those who have never had formal training. We cover all the basics of shotgun as well as ammunition selection, patterning a shogun, change out drills and much more.
Shotguns are available for rent for those who do not own one.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Defensive Handgun I from ITTS or equivalent or shotgun training from an ITTS recognized school.

- Loading and unloading
- Speed reloading
- Slug change out drills
- Multiple targets
- Shotgun shooting racks
- “Rolling Thunder” drills
- Varied distance shooting
- Man on man on reactive steel
Equipment needed:
- Shotgun in good working condition *
- Sling *
- 250 rounds of Birdshot *
- 75 rounds of Buckshot (00) *
- 50 Slugs *
- Eye and ear protection
*Gun rentals (and all associated equipment) are available for rent at a daily rate of $25 for handguns and $40 for shotguns, carbine rifles and sniper rifles. All of our rental guns are of the highest quality and in excellent condition. Therefore, when renting our equipment, ammunition MUST be purchased from us at competitive prices.
A limited number of rentals are available for each class, so please indicate your need to rent when you sign up for a class either by noting it in the comments section or by calling us at 310-471-2029. For carbine rifle, sniper rifle, or shotgun rentals please call us to confirm they are available.
