ADVANCED HANDGUN
This intense, dynamic course is for those students who wish to challenge themselves and take gunfighting to another level.

Topics covered:
· Close contact encounters with our Charging Knife Attack System™
· Weapon retention
· Break-a-ways
· Shooting from 1 yard with a "speed rock" drill
· Team Drills with Cover Fire
· Advanced Night time Shooting Techniques
· Discussion of Defensive Measures to use in a Home Environment
· Defensive Measures to use in a Vehicle
· Shooting inside a Home
· Shooting Inside, Outside and Around a Vehicle
· Shooting while exiting a Vehicle
· Using a Vehicle for Cover.
· Shooting from a Moving Vehicle

Equipment needed:
· Cleaned and oiled handgun at least 9mm in caliber
· Three or more magazines
· Holster and sturdy belt
· Magazine pouch or holder
· Eye and ear protection.
· Sturdy flashlight (preferably Surefire™)
· 600 Rounds of Factory Ammunition for three days
. Lunch for night shoot

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Handgun III course from ITTS or another recognized school.

DEFENSIVE HANDGUN I

Defensive Handgun I is for the novice shooter, those who have not had formal training from a recognized firearms school or those who want to improve their basic skills. Topics covered:

· Discussion on the use of deadly force with attendant video
· Setting up a "safe" room in your home
· California laws regarding carry, ownership and the transport of firearms
· Firearms safety on the range and at home
· Combat mindset
· Handgun selection
· Basic tenets of shooting
· Presenting the pistol from the holster
· Proper loading and unloading
· Singles and pairs on paper
· Failure drills
· Shooting from 50 yards on steel
· Engaging reactive targets in a timed sequence


Equipment needed:
· Cleaned and oiled handgun at least 9mm in caliber (or rental)
· Three or more magazines (or rental)
· Sturdy belt
· Eye and ear protection.
· 200 Rounds of factory ammunition

There is no prerequisite for this course!
Equipment is available for rent.

Included in price is the ITTS "Art of the Gun" DVD and an ITTS t-shirt.
Tuition: $575
