Defensive Handgun II

Saturday 9 - 5 Sunday 2 - 10 Location: Angeles Shooting Range Instructor: Brett McQueen and Scott Reitz The purpose of this class is to refine handgun skills, take beginning students to the next level and prepare students for our Defensive Handgun III course (AKA Intermediate Handgun), which is challenging. We will start with a short review of Handgun I and then move on to speed reloads, reactive steel target engagement, varied position shooting, proper care and cleaning techniques for handguns, how to set up the handgun for maximum efficiency and more. In day two you will learn low level light shooting techniques, shooting on the move, malfunction clearance and multiple threat engagement. You will improve your marksmanship skill level while balancing speed and accuracy. This course is a prerequisite for Defensive Handgun III. Equipment needed: · Cleaned and oiled handgun at least 9mm in caliber · Three or more magazines · Holster and sturdy belt · Magazine pouch or holder · Eye and ear protection. · Sturdy flashlight (preferably Surefire™) · 600 Rounds of Factory Ammunition * Equipment is available for rent at $25 a day Prerequisite: Handgun I from ITTS or Equivalent from a recognized firearms school Tuition: $375 Local accomodations for this class Email Information Request Law Enforcement Sign Up
