Active Shooter

Friday 9-5 Saturday 2-10 Sunday 8-4 Location: Angeles Shooting Range Instructor: Scott Reitz & SWAT instructors This course is designed to familiarize the officer with the dynamic fundamentals necessary to successfully resolve an active shooter situation. We will emphasize team tactics, movement, communications and limitations which may be imposed by exigent circumstances. It is a realistic approach to rapidly assemblying and coordinating other team members and/or outiside entities into an effective response force. Due to the nature of the active shooter, critical decision skills must be in place prior to such an event. This class is designed expressly for that purpose. There will be live fire in conjunction with simmunitions exercises in order to equip the officers with realistic response mechanisms and tactics necessary to resolving such scenarios. Actual situations will be de-briefed along with active class participation throughout the course. Equipment: . Pistol . Rifle (Must be up to speed with Rifle) . Spare magazines .
