Nighttime Problem Solving Vehicles Assault/Stop

3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Location: Angeles Shooting Range Instructor: Scott Reitz & SWAT instructors This all Movement Nighttime Vehicle Stops/Assaults is an LE Restricted class for SWAT officers, patrol officers, or others who make vehicle stops and approaches. This class deals with problem solving in making stops and approaches at night. The instructors are current SIS and/or SWAT instructors from the LAPD who do this full time. The topics covered: · All movement Drills · Shooting on the move · Team Movement · Control of Suspects · Bullet Performance on Vehicles · Glass and Round Penetration · Shooting from inside a vehicle · Shooting into a vehicle · Shooting from a Moving Vehicle · Hostage scenarios · Ambush and Counter Ambush techniques Prerequisite is Advanced Handgun from ITTS or Advanced Handgun from another recognized school. NO EXCEPTIONS FOR THIS CLASS!! Tuition: $450 Equipment: • Cleaned and oiled handgun at least 9mm in caliber • Three or more magazines . Cleaned and oiled Rifle • Holster and sturdy belt (or duty rig) • Magazine pouch or holder • Eye and ear protection . Clear glasses for night shoot • Sturdy flashlight with spare batteries .Body Armor (optional) • 400 Rounds of Handgun Ammunition . 200 Rouns of Rifle Ammunition . Plenty of water (no sugared drinks, please) . A baseball style cap . Sunscreen . A jacket for the night shoot .
