Intermediate Handgun Series

Friday & Sunday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Saturday 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Location: Angeles Shooting Range Instructor: TBD Intermediate Handgun is intended to be taken as a three day class, since one day progresses into another and completes a comprehensive intermediate level course. We highly recommend attending all three days to get the most out of the class and to qualify for the Advanced level courses. However, for those who are not able to attend the full course, each day is offered separately. There is a savings of $50 when you sign up for all three days. II A topics: · Review of handgun manipulation · Speed reloading · Malfunction clearance drills · One-handed shooting - strong and weak hand · Multiple target engagement · Braced kneel, un-braced kneel, speed kneel · Roll over prone shooting · Varied distance- 7 to 50 yards · Articulating hostage target. II B topics: · Shooting on the moving target · Barricade shooting on the mover · Barricade entry in shooting house · Low level light shooting techniques · Night time Donga trail · Multiple threat engagement II C topics: · Timed stress drills · Rapid Target Acquisition · Hostage scenarios with Hostage rack · Shoot/No shoot room clearance · Unconventional shooting positions · Bounce Obstacle Course. Equipment needed: · Cleaned and oiled handgun at least 9mm in caliber · Three or more magazines · Holster and sturdy belt · Magazine pouch or holder · Eye and ear protection. · Sturdy flashlight (preferably Surefire™) · 1,200 Rounds of Factory Ammunition for three days Prerequisite: Successful completion of Defensive Handgun II course from ITTS or a basic handgun course from another recognized school.
